Hi FANS! šŸ˜

This past Friday First Mate Deadeye Rattling Rum and I got an education hanging out with some fabulous intellectuals and literary advocates at Lethbridge Agri-Hub Exhibition grounds, for the SOUTHERN ALBERTA LIBRARY CONFERENCE!

(Side-note: the food was fabulous too!)

We want to thank Kerby Elfring for inviting us to this Chinook ARCH eventšŸ˜ŠšŸ™šŸ¾!

I'm a big advocate for local libraries; They provide wonderful services, encourage literacy, and are integral to our Alberta communities!

While we marketed my books at the event, I also had the opportunity to attend sessions offered by various attendees. I was intrigued by the AI insights of the keynote speaker, Nick Tanzi, (Thank you, sir :)) and also appreciated Jessica Dinan's informative session on Graphic Novels, Manga and Anime. (Thank you, Jessica!)

It was a different experience from our other venues. I was blessed to meet many academic people, subsequently engage in deep, interesting conversations on many subjects, and make some excellent networking contacts for this business.

I'll share more pics on my FB page, so be sure to check it out:

NEXT:Ā

We have several shows booked over the next couple of months. Demand is high!

The BIG NEWS: We just got pre-approved for 2025 TABER CORN FEST again!

Corn Fest is the Biggest event of the year for Taber, with a waiting list for vendors!

To be invited as "unique" and bringing value to the event is a HUGE honour that I don't take lightly.

This year will be even better than last year's debut; more Props, + crew mates, and now I've written the (constantly evolving) back-story LORE of Captain CHOO and the First Mate too, so our role-playing is up a notch!

BlessingsšŸ™šŸ¾

Dave Chouhan, AKA Captain CHOOšŸ’– & First Mate Mrs. CHOO!
